Before joining publishing, I studied English Literature and Spanish at university and took a graduate role working in León, Spain, as a copyeditor and translator across a wide range of texts.

I began my trade publishing career at Hodder & Stoughton (Hachette UK) in 2023, where I was an Assistant Editor supporting on a wide range of commercial fiction authors such as Will Dean, Sophie Hannah, Stephen King, Vaseem Khan and Holly Bourne. I was promoted to Editor at Hodder in 2025 after originating and developing the pitch for what would become the feminist folk horror novel Itch! by Gemma Amor, as well as publishing Sunday Times bestselling horror titles Bat Eater and Japanese Gothic by Kylie Lee Baker. I also published Sunday Times bestselling dark gothic fantasy The Faithful Dark by Cate Baumer on the Hodderscape list, among other titles you can find here.

In 2026, I started my current role as Commissioning Editor at HarperVoyager and Magpie Books, where I publish across science fiction, fantasy and horror, as well as originating and publishing trend-led IP projects in the same space.
